In Tove Jansson’s book ”Comet in Moominland” from 1946 the Muskrat warns about a danger that is soon to arrive and that might affect the Moominvalley. In the story, Moomintroll and Sniff decide to find out what is going on and how Moominvalley could cope with the danger. The story conveys the importance of curiosity, courage, love, and determination.
Equality Crewneck College is a part of our Moomin Alphabets collection. With our Moomin Alphabet Collection we wanted to honor Tove Jansson, who is the creator of Moomins. Although the Moomin works by Tove Jansson were made decades ago, their message is still important and relevant today. COURAGE, LOVE, and EQUALITY - are a few of the more essential values that are strongly represented in all Moomin stories.
Respect for nature and its animals was self-evident to Tove Jansson. With those values in mind, the shirts in our collection are made out of 100% recycled and organic materials.
